A perfect birthday lunch at Fork & Path I took my partner to Fork & Path today for his birthday lunch, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. This cafe is amazing! Everything tastes great because it’s run by people who truly care about coffee and food. Whether you come alone or with friends, it’s always a great place to be. I highly recommend it Plus, this cafe roasts its own coffee, so you can get great beans at a good price!

We will be going here for a Wednesday treat on a regular basis for the foreseeable future. I had heard of this cafe before but had thought it was “just another cafe” and didn’t make an effort to go. By chance, I had an appointment nearby and decided to try it out. No fancy marketing or decor but a cosy and quaint spot with amazing coffee and service. I took my husband on our second visit and now he wishes he could come regularly too. The bento box was delicately prepared and tasted fresh and comforting. Despite the coziness of the cafe, they welcome little ones and go the extra mile to prepare them a delicious meal as well. The fluffiest scrambled eggs with soft bread. The only regret is that my little one eats all of it and leaves me nothing.

My daughter and I had a lovely time eating delicious food and drinking the green tea. There was a calm atmosphere with very friendly staff for a Friday lunch. We had the vegetarian bento and chicken avocado wrap.

A perfect brunch spot in the heart of Northcote. The incredible authentic-tasting matcha lattes come with the cutest designs made by the talented barista. The owners and staff are incredibly accomodating, and have a beautiful & kind presence that make you feel at home. The food is delicious! My go-to vegan salad with chicken has a burst of flavour, along with crunchy textures that all complement each other. The Takoyaki has a perfectly seasoned batter, and it is filled with octopus! I would say it is definitely a highlight entree. The Udon is extremely filling, and the texture is perfect. The broth has a wonderful balance of flavours, paired with your choice of side. This is definitely a must-have. Thank you to the staff who make our visits so pleasant! We appreciate all your hard work, and we cannot wait to be back again!

A gem in Northcote with great food and coffee and plenty of alternatives to suit all palates. Take such detailed care in presentation I didn’t want to drink my matcha-ccino due to the gorgeous art work. But I did and it’s the best I’ve had to date. Thank you to the chef and front of house team. Sx

Incredible cafe with amazing coffee (roasted in-house) and yummy food. It’s run by Andy and Sea who immediately make you feel welcome and part of the community. They found out I was English and my flat white arrived with an English Rose as milk art! Andy has won many awards and medals here and in Hong Kong for his coffee that you can also buy for home use. Very special place with a lovely ambience too. Their signature pistachio French toast hit the spot and a perfect balance of flavours and texture without being overly sweet but if you do like it sweet there’s a syrup on the side to add if you wish. Hats off to this incredibly hard working couple who have added a wonderful cafe experience to the Northcote community.

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the welcoming staff and excellent service. The team really go above and beyond to make sure customers have a great experience. The coffee is exceptional, full of flavour and clearly made with care, truly among Melbourne’s best. Breakfast was fresh, tasty, and beautifully prepared. Overall, a wonderful cafe that I’ll definitely revisit and recommend to anyone looking for quality food, coffee, and service.
